Retailer Review: All Cosmetics Wholesale (ACW.com)

Order from http://allcosmeticswholesale.com/

UPDATE 7/21/2014

Since this is a very popular post on my blog, I felt obligated to tell you guys new information I have discovered. On various forums I have read complaints that numerous consumers have received fake cosmetics from the ACW website. Now I don't know if this is true but I encourage everyone to double check their batch numbers received (this is a code that must be printed on all cosmetics either via a label or stamp) by using this website: http://checkcosmetic.net/. Your safety is more important than any deal, even if you got something on massive discount, if it was not manufactured and stamped/labeled properly then it is a liability and unsafe to use. Cosmetics expire, if you use them past their expiry date they can have adverse effects on your skin and eyes.

ORIGINAL POST 2/26/2014

About a month or so ago I placed an order with All Cosmetics Wholesale (or http://allcosmeticswholesale.com/) and the order total was $23. The breakdown is that all of these products were on discount for a total of $15 but then shipping was a whopping $7 and the rest was taxes. I also used the coupon code SALE30 for 30% off all sale items.

I had some issues with my order because the United States Postal Service did not forward it to my new address and it got re-sent to ACW. Unfortunately, since they're an online-only company they have strict policies and no customer support help line. So my only other option was to pay the shipping fee AGAIN (which this time ended up being $7.50 EXTRA) or to pay a re-stocking fee to get *some* of my money refunded. Long story short, my whole order was definitely over $30 with having to pay shipping twice. The customer service was kind of a nightmare.

That being said, I went to this website because I wanted to get the limited edition, discontinued Maybelline Color Tattoos from Summer 2013 (I got Lavish Lavender and Seashore Frosts) and this was the only place I found them at a reasonable cost (I believe they were $3.49 each). These showed up sealed and they were creamy and in perfect condition - they did not look tampered with at all.

I also purchased the Pixi Energy Blush in Pretty Petal #1 - this showed up without the brush it's supposed to arrive with in the pull out drawer underneath and it also wasn't sealed. It did not appear swatched but on the bottom it is clearly labelled to be a tester (so if you're buying from this website to give items as presents, beware that items are not listed as testers on the website but what you are receiving may actually be a tester). I was disappointed with how powdery and cakey this product from Pixi was and I was sure glad I didn't pay more than a dollar or two for this - it really can only be used as a highlighter as it is very poorly pigmented (the swatches on my hand were about a dozen passes through). This is a discontinued item.

I've never really given L'Oreal products a try since I was never drawn to them but I decided to give them a shot by purchasing this L'Oreal Blush Delice All Over Glow Illuminateur in Shimmer of Hope. I really liked the color payoff on this quad and it can be used as a blush, contour and highlight so it really is an all-in-one product. This product has been discontinued for at least a couple of seasons and is not part of their regular product line.
I also purchased this  L'Oreal Illuminating Blush in Luminous Peach and this is definitely not the softest or most buttery product. These colors are nice and easy to work with, especially on a lighter complexion but they do require some building up and some warming up with your brush.  I think this one had much worse color payoff than the Shimmer of Hope quad. Similarly, it is also discontinued.
The Stila Eye Shadow Duo in Fandango was on sale for $0.99 and 30% off so this was a great deal. It's the real product and it came packaged well. The color payoff is what you would expect from Stila and I have others of these so I can definitely confirm these were legitimate but again, they are a discontinued product that you can no longer find on Stila's website.

If you're looking for powder products and you live in the US, I would give this website a shot but I would never spend a large sum of money here. I can guarantee that the items *I received* were authentic but I assume they get their products from eBay lots and wherever else they may find them on extreme sale. I have more courage purchasing items from eBay as, if something goes wrong with your order, you can always get your money back, but I have found that other websites do not have this star quality customer service. You should also expect that these items will most likely be testers and all will probably be discontinued. It's a good way to try out products you wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on, but I really do think the shipping costs were excessive, even though it arrived in 2 days and was well packed.

    1. Let me know what you think about your order and if everything arrives intact. It ended up costing me more like $14 for shipping because the post office messed up and returned it to ACW and they made me re-pay for shipping to get my items... I'm really not sure if I'll ever order from them again (they've got to have the deal of the century for me to, I think)

  4. I ordered from All Cosmetics Wholesale and what I ordered was the "Mac" lipsticks that are $3.99 on the site. They are NOT MAC. Period. They are not factory blems, either. They are the same lipsticks that one can order from China websites in bulk. I am so angry because when they write, "These are blems from the factory", one assumes they mean the MAC factory. They mean some China factory in this case. That is the reason for the removed color sticker, the packaging that isn't up to the MAC standards, the fact that they do not say they are MAC (they only show that incredibly enticing pic of a MAC lippie), and the lack of the vanilla scent. Even the inner plastic tube workings are a different shade of white; the fakes are not as opaque as the MAC. I HATE that I paid that much for this crap---I ordered 4 of them. I could have literally gone to dhgate and gotten 20 for the same exact price. If it doesn't expressly say MAC, do not buy it. It IS NOT AUTHENTIC. I ordered two of the Estee L. lippies; they better be real or I will doing my first Youtube vid review on THEM and it won't be nice; but the way they are selling this crap isn't nice, either.

    2. I'm sorry you had this experience :( so far from most forums I've heard that people at least thought their MAC items were legitimate, so that's a bummer. I would encourage you to write a report to the Better Business Bureau on their website (http://www.bbb.org/). I really think makeup companies and websites should be a lot more regulated by the FDA or another governing body (the way pharmaceuticals are) because they are products we put on our faces and if they are formulated improperly or stored improperly, they can cause adverse reactions. If you don't know where a product is really from you can never trust the ingredients. So I'd like to caution you on the use of these, just make sure you're ok!

I have had this experience with POP Beauty products... I have several "sample" items from them where they were made in Taiwan and the ingredients did not match what was inside the product and also the lipglosses tasted like plastic. I immediately threw them out as did a lot of other beauty bloggers!

Thanks for your response and I hope you find a decent discount website in the future!! :)

  7. I'm so sorry to hear that. Did you try and email their customer support? That's the only way I received any kind of response. If you purchased through PayPal you can always ask for a refund since you didn't receive the product. Hope that helps!!

  9. Sheri Marguerite Butte is the owner of the company All Cosmetics Wholesale and Suite 7 Beauty HERE IS HER CONTACT INFORMATION THAT SHE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW..SHERI BUTTE 16006 288th St. GRAHAM, WA. CELL NUMBERS..1(509)290-6625 1(509)413-2341. As many of you know there are no phone numbers for you to contact anyone on ACW COSMETICS.COM so I did my own investigation. My problem with this company is a too lengthy to write, but if you guys want to know all the particulars let me know. In short..The company sells counterfeit goods and I have notified the proper authorities including http://www.naw.org/govrelations/advisory.php?articleid=563. I have made purchases from this company before I knew they are nefarious. This last purchase was in the amount of $250.00...I did not receive the order. Instead was shipped wrong merchandise. In this wrong merchandise were counterfeit MAC products and a few others. I contacted the company and they wanted me to return counterfeit items THEN they would give me a refund for my purchases order I did not receive! I sent several emails to no avail. That's when I decided to look up others complaints and realized I wasn't the only one and I was going to do something about it, not only for me but for all of you who have been scammed by this so called company owned by a very immoral Sheri Butte. It has cost me time and money to get this information but I think it's worth it and I pass it along to you. I have contacted an attorney for legal advice. She is committing a very serious crime in selling counterfeit goods and she can face a very l large fine and serious prison time. In her correspondence with me she seems to think this is a joke and she is perfectly fine selling counterfeit items she claims are real. I called MAC, gave photos and numbers and packaging, they are not real! For Those of you who have been harmed by the counterfeit products, there is an option to start a class action lawsuit against the company. I would encourage you to give Sheri a call if you have a dispute with her company.

  10. Hello Lethal Glam fans! My name is Sheri Butte and I am the owner of ACW (allcosmeticswholesale.com). I am writing in to set the record straight on our company. First and foremost, we greatly appreciate our amazing ACW customers. Without them, we would of course not exist. So to our many fans and loyal customers, we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! To those of you here and out there reading, if you have had less than a perfect experience with us, I want to personally apologize to each and every one of you. I would also ask that if you have an issue, please email me personally at sheri@allcosmeticswholesale.com. I am happy to help in every way that I can.

For those of you that do not know, ACW is primarily a discount beauty website. However, we also carry a few full price retail lines for the convenience of an all in one shopping experience. For the lines that we offer at discount (below MSRP/Retail), please be aware that these products are purchased at discount from retailers and manufacturers for reasons including: shelf pull inventory, excess inventory, mislabeled inventory, less than retail perfect manufactured goods (we normally notate these as "Blems"), damaged inventories and discontinued inventories. For these and other reasons, we state that discounted items on ACW may NOT be retail perfect. Be aware that due to what may be a less than retail perfect item available on ACW, we do not recommend our discounted items for gift giving.

No, we do not buy on ebay and resell on ACW. No, we do not sell counterfeit cosmetics or "replica's" or "copies" or whatever term is being used by the counterfeiters this month. Yes, shipping is expensive. We know, we don't like it either. Yes, quite often your total purchase will be less than your shipping costs...that just means we have amazing prices!!! ;)

I personally guarantee that every single item offered on ACW is 100% Authentic. I can make this guarantee because we buy from the approved retailers and manufacturers direct. If you purchase an item from ACW that you feel is less than authentic, just send it back. Its that easy. You would be incorrect in your assumption of in-authenticity, but that does not matter to me. What matters to me is that you are happy with your purchase and you WANT to come back and see us again. Bottom line. We have been in business for over 13 years because of our ability to provide authentic products at sometimes unbelievable prices and have the privileged of serving the most amazing customers EVER!

If you or anyone you know has a question, comment, concern or just wants to say hello, give them my email. I would love to help!

My direct email again is Sheri@AllCosmeticsWholesale.com. I thank you all for reading and hope to hear from everyone here that has a concern.

  11. Hello Jen,
I want to reply to the comments you have made above. First however, I want to again apologize profusely for the error we made in sending you another customers order. We are human and we do make mistakes. I personally sent you an apology as soon as we realized our mistake. We sent you a return shipping label so that you could easily send the incorrect order back as it did belong to someone else and you refused to do so. The order shipped to you has a value 3 times that of the order you placed and it was important for us to recover those goods for the customer who purchased them. Every item in that order as in yours is absolutely 100% authentic and I personally guarantee that.

You were fully refunded for your order and have kept the order that belonged to another customer. I will not personally attack you or your inaccuracies above in a public or private forum as it is not at all necessary not to mention that is is simply quite unkind.

It is however worth noting that the information you have published above is not correct. If the phone numbers above do belong to someone, they may not appreciate your publishing them. I am sure they would greatly appreciate your removing them. They do not belong to me.

In closing, I am very sorry that we made a mistake sent you the wrong order and could have avoided all of this. I wish you all the best.

    Kind Regards,
    Sheri Butte

  12. I often purchase from ACW to supplement my makeup stock, and have always been happy with the products received and service provided. As a dedicated consumer of ethically sourced, sustainably made products containing organic ingredients where possible, I am very cautious when purchasing any products not directly from the manufacturer. I have found ACW to have a transparent and sound supply chain, and have never had any reason to doubt the authenticity of ACWs products upon receipt of my numerous purchases.

  13. I wish I hadn't listened to all these beauty gurus claiming that ACW sold genuine MAC products or I would not have spent so much on fake products and could have invested in real MAC.
